Purpose
The purpose of the Camden County Republican Club is to foster loyalty to the Republican Party, promote its principles, and to recruit, assist and elect Republican candidates at the National, State and Local levels. The Club provides a forum for citizens to discuss current issues and proposed legislation with community leaders and elected officials. Promoting better government through citizen involvement is an expanded area of interest for our members.

History
The Camden County Republican Club was organized in the spring of 2000. Beginning with a nucleus of approximately 25 members, it has now grown to over 400 members. Enthusiastic and dedicated people from all areas of Camden County have become involved in fund raising events, manning campaign head-quarters, sponsoring Lincoln Days dinners, Rallies and Chili Dinners. Last year's monthly potluck meetings provided us the opportunity to meet and get to know local and state prospective government candidates. We feel the success in the 2004 elections in our area was due in large part to the activities, interest, work and growth generated through the awareness and efforts of this vibrant club.
Goals
  • Provide a forum to discuss and educate Camden County residents on National, State, and local issues through mailings, meetings and media announcements.
  • To increase the number of Republicans that VOTE in all the upcoming elections.
  • To grow our membership and increase local participation.
  • To lend support to National, State, and local Republicans whom we deem will best uphold the Republican platform and values.
